I reserved this domain name in 2003 right after Arnold Schwarzenegger won the historical recall election (Bringing Business Back to California was one of his platforms). At the time I heard of a domain name being purchased for $1 million, so I decided to register this one (had a ring to it), not planning on doing anything with it, except maybe sell it. I was at a challenging point in my life professionally and personally. I had been outsourced in 2001, my father died (living 5 years more than doctors gave him) in 2002, I filed bankruptcy in 2002 and also lost a good friend.

After being outsourced from Dun & Bradstreet in 2001 and not finding comparable work right away, I job hopped for a few years looking for a good fit (not my intention). In 2004 I started driving a cab, because my car broke down. In 2008, the insurance company didn’t renew my cab license and the owner of the cab company said I could come back later that year when my driving record cleared, however, I wanted to get back into the “business world”. It was about the time of the “great recession” and I looked everywhere for work. Since 2008 I’ve worked with about 9 different companies (funny...the companies hiring were mainly telemarketing and canvassing – and since the bottom line was more important than ever, if you weren’t up to speed right away, they would replace you). I also worked with Quiznos for about a year (the owner, who I didn’t know at the time, called me when he saw I worked with the cab company he drove with too), however, the store ended up closing. I’ve been working with my current employer for just over 2 years, sometimes full time but most of time has been part time, and though I believe in the company and its products, it’s not where I want to end my career.

Once I get myself back on track, I’d like to day trade and be an entrepreneur. I have a degree in finance, worked in retail management for a couple of years and was an information consultant for 5 years, being recognized nationally for exceeding sales and performance goals with both companies. This website is an ongoing project and is used as a personal website only. I’m also on twitter at http://twitter.com/#!/bullish4life (people that know me from years ago may think it’s because I’m stubborn (bullish4life) – it’s not – I’ve always loved the stock market and I’m a glass is half full kind of guy too!
